[Introduction]

The Vigor2950 series is security firewall target for SMB and network coffee market. 

Considering the mission critical requirement of business and network coffee application, 
the Vigor2950 equips with Intel IXP network processor and DrayTek's DrayOS as kernel, 
enables robust VPN firewall and high performance throughput as well.

With cutting edge Multi-WAN technology via two fast Ethernet ports, the Vigor2950 provides 
two WAN ports supporting load balance, bandwidth on demand and internet connection failover. 
Five gigabit Ethernet ports are equipped and can be configured as DMZ or monitor port. 
Atheros Super-G is supported with speed up to 108Mbps for wireless connection. 

Vigor2950 provides strong bandwidth management capability includes: bandwidth 
limitation/session limitation per IP/port. The rule-based QoS control, web content filter 
and versatile IM/P2P blocking of Vigor2950 improves the overall network efficiency. Powered 
by gigabit switch, the Vigor2950 provides ultimate non-blocking full duplex 1000Mbps traffic 
exchange between LAN. 

The Vigor2950 provides very user-friendly in-band management by WEB UI, telnet and SNMP. The 
quick start wizard makes the Vigor2950 very easy to be configured and activated within 
minutes. The Vigor2950 supports syslog thus the administrator can trouble-shooting easily.   

The Vigor2950 provides all-in-one functionality for option: Super G with 802.11-based 
wireless connectivity(G model) and ISDN(i model).
